Kandis Draw lives in Chicago Illinois, and works as a Community Education Associate for the HAP Foundation. The HAP Foundation focuses its work around Advocacy, Education, and Research around serious illness for adult and pediatric care. She is also a Contributor for Caregiving.com, and a National Illinois Advocate for the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.

In November, she will be a part of The National Thought on Leadership Care Colloquium conference held in Roanoke, Virginia, where she will part of a panel speaking on the importance of Advocacy, and leading a Think Tank on DEI Issues in Caregiving sharing the caregiver experience from the perspective of the Black Community.
